Job summary

The Dent Brothers in Canberra is seeking a Customer Service & Operations Coordinator to be the first point of contact for customers and to support the operations team. You’ll help ensure smooth service delivery, organise bookings, and drive continuous process improvements.

You will oversee communications, ordering, and workshop organization, while collaborating with management to implement technology and systems that enhance customer experiences. A positive, proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or operations is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour are a must.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable learning and using new technology, software platforms and business systems (Microsoft 365).

Responsibilities

• Answer and return customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Arrange and manage repair bookings to optimise workflow.
• Place stationary orders and assist with ordering and receiving goods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the workshop.
• Conduct vehicle arrival inspections and facilitate handovers.
• Capture video footage of repairs to enhance customer transparency.

Position Overview:
In this essential role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and a vital support to our operations team. Your contributions will help ensure smooth and efficient service delivery, allowing us to meet our goals for quality repairs and outstanding customer satisfaction.

You’ll oversee customer communications, bookings, workflow coordination, office administration and customer satisfaction. You’ll also work closely with management to continually improve systems, technology and processes that make our business better.

Key Responsibilities:
