Job summary

Bendigo Bank's Sunshine Coast branch in Woombye is seeking a Customer Service Officer. This permanent, part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional service, processing transactions, guiding customers through online platforms, and recommending suitable products to help achieve financial goals.

You’ll work a 45-hour fortnight schedule, Monday to Friday 9:00am–1:30pm, with on-site duties and a strong emphasis on risk-aware service, teamwork, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment and the ability to achieve targets.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset.
• Confident to communicate with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Demonstrates understanding of what makes Bendigo Bank different.
• Collaborative mindset and mateship to work across the team.
• Experience in banking and finance is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Explore customers' needs through in-depth conversations and partner with branch specialists.
• Support customers with digital literacy and online banking needs as we innovate.
• Be the face of the branch for transactions, cash handling, queries or paperwork with risk in mind.
• Participate in on-the-job training and external development opportunities.
• Build connections and support local communities.
