Job summary

Bulla Dairy Foods is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join the Customer Service team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential extension. You will handle orders, respond to inquiries, investigate claims and support inventory management across Victoria.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in customer service, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. A hybrid work model and office locations across Victoria are offered to support flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably FMCG, in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Resilience and ability to navigate challenging conversations with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
• Attention to detail and high data accuracy when processing orders and maintaining customer information.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Team-focused approach aligned with core values; supporting colleagues and delivering positive outcomes.
• Comfort with technology and learning new systems; SAP/ERP familiarity is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Receive, validate and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Investigate consumer claims and manage open claims in relevant systems.
• Support 3PL inventory management and collaborate with internal teams to resolve product, delivery and service issues.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Service team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension at the conclusion of the contract. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing prompt, accurate and effective responses to a diverse range of queries including stock availability, product information, customer enquiries, service issues, customer and consumer feedback.

What's the Scoop?

• Receive, validate and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Bring:

• 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably within FMCG or another fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Resilience and confidence to independently navigate challenging customer conversations, with a calm and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy, particularly when processing orders and maintaining customer information.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.

• Confidence using technology and learning new systems including AI tools. Experience with Microsoft Office or ERP/order-processing systems such as SAP will be beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work an 8:00am-5:00pm rotating roster as well as the availability to work on selected Victorian public holidays.
