Bulla Dairy Foods in Colac, Victoria, is seeking an Area Coordinator – Logistics to support daily site operations, safety, quality and production workflows under the Production Lead.

You will schedule staff, manage incidents in SAP and Workforce Ready, handle rosters, and act as first point of contact for the team, with forklift duties if required.

Qualifications

• Dairy manufacturing/production knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills with the capacity to positively influence people and to initiate and deliver change independently or through teamwork.
• Ability to work cross functionally and engage broadly within the business.
• Knowledge and desire to learn the operational methodologies and tools.
• Ability to correctly apply company and regulatory policies and procedures throughout their department.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) including the ability to manage workplace communication and effective workplace relationships.
• Commitment to and capacity for personal development.

• Support the effective operation of the site and relevant department by dealing with day-to-day matters.
• Provide first point of contact to team for all matters.
• Support safety processes by inputting incidents and hazards and following up on actions.
• Support quality processes by inputting incidents and following up on actions.
• Ensure clear and documented communications reported back to Production Lead in a timely fashion.
• Complete staff scheduling within Workforce Ready and publish rosters timely.
• Support with required SAP entry within the relevant team/shift.
• Forklift operation if required.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Area Coordinator – Logistics to join our Operations team.

Reporting into the Production Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring all functions within the daily operations (Safety, Food Safety & Quality, Waste & Downtime) are managed efficiently and effectively and support the delivery of year-to-year objectives. You will also be a point of contact for team matters, staffing, coordination, SAP, Workforce Ready and improvement projects at our Hearn Street site in Colac.

Hours: Successful applicants will be required to work standard day shift hours in line with operational requirements.

Pay: Rates from $39 per hour.
