Go Traffic in Geelong is seeking a motivated Customer Service & Job Scoping Officer to join our Client Services team. You will handle customer enquiries, prepare accurate job bookings, scopes and schedules, and ensure compliant traffic control plans are delivered.

You will assess site conditions, liaise with clients and Traffic Management Designers, coordinate crews and equipment, and support service delivery with precise data entry and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience within the traffic management industry, including knowledge of Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and permits.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation.
• Ability to assess requirements and provide practical traffic control solutions.
• Knowledge of Austroads guidelines is advantageous.

We are seeking a motivated Customer Service & Job Scoping Officer to join our Client Services team in Geelong, supporting customer enquiries, traffic management planning, scheduling, and operational service delivery. Your tasks will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.

Preparing accurate job bookings, scopes, schedules, and service records within company systems.

Assess job requirements, site conditions, and risks to define practical and compliant traffic control methods.

Ensure all scopes meet requirements and elevate complex or non-standard jobs.

Liaising with clients, operational teams, and Traffic Management Designers (TMDs) to ensure compliant and deliverable outcomes.

Coordinating updates to job details, crew allocations, vehicles, and equipment requirements.

Supporting service delivery through accurate administration, scheduling, and customer communication.

Skills & Experience

Experience within the traffic management industry, including knowledge of Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS), permits, and traffic operations, will be highly regarded.

Solid knowledge of Austroads guidelines, Traffic Guidance Schemes, and permit requirements.

Ability to gather information, assess requirements, and provide practical solutions.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

High attention to detail with accurate data entry and reliable system use (e.g. Traffio, MS Office).

Safety-focused and organised, with the ability to manage priorities, work under pressure, and work both independently and in a team.
