Medibank is hiring a Local Community Consultant at our Modbury SA store, offering Permanent Full-time (37.5 hours p/w) or Part-time (30 hours p/w) arrangements to suit you.

As the face of Medibank in your area, you’ll help customers choose the right health cover and services, and support them across in-store, phone, online and in the community.

The flexible rotating roster runs Monday to Friday with some Saturday work, 8am–8pm, with after-hours home shifts when rostered.

Formación

• Experience in customer service, sales, health, retail or community engagement preferred.

About the role

We have a Permanent Full-time (37.5 hours p/w) or Part-time (30 hours p/w) opportunity for a Sales and Customer Service Consultant, internally referred to as a Local Community Consultant, at our Modbury SA store.

As the face of Medibank in your area, you will:

• Help customers choose the right health cover and services.
• Support them across multiple channels - in-store, over the phone, online, and in the community.
• Build lasting relationships and trust through personalised conversations.
• Solve everyday challenges and share ideas to improve how we work.

This role includes a flexible rotating roster working Monday to Friday with some Saturday work. The working hours are between 8am - 8pm and rostered hours after 5pm will be working from home shifts.

You will be a part of a geographically based, cross-functional teams, with a shared goal to build stronger community connections, deepen trust, and deliver more personalised support in your area.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need health insurance experience - we’ll teach you that. If you have skills in customer service, sales, health, retail, or community engagement, you could be a great addition to our team.

• Great at building rapport and explaining things clearly.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
• A team player who is adaptable and proactive.
• Detail-focused and committed to protecting customer privacy.
