Medibank is hiring a Local Community Consultant for our Maroochydore store, blending customer service with community engagement. You’ll help customers select health cover, and support them in-store, over the phone, online, and in the community.

You don’t need prior health insurance experience; we’ll teach you. A proactive teammate who communicates clearly and adapts to tech will thrive in a flexible, in-store/online role.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales is preferred but training is provided.
• Ability to engage with the local community and build trust.
• Comfort with using technology and learning new systems.

About the role

We have a full-timehybrid opportunity for aCustomer Service andSales Consultant at our Maroochydore store.This role includes a flexible rotating roster working Monday to Friday with some Saturday work. The working hours are between 8am - 8pm with maximum 8-hour shifts (e.g. 9am - 5pm or 12pm - 8pm).

• Help customers choose the right health cover and services.
• Support them across multiple channels –in‑store, over the phone, online, and in the community.
• Build lasting relationships and trust through personalised conversations.
• Solve everyday challenges and share ideas to improve how we work.
• Internally referred to as a Local Community Consultant, you will be a part of ageographically based, cross-functional teams, with a sharedgoaltobuild stronger community connections, deepen trust, and deliver more personalised supportin your area.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need health insurance experience – we’ll teach you that. If you have skills in customer service, sales,health,retail, or community engagement, youcould be a great addition to our team.
