Job summary

nbn is seeking a Customer Field Technician in Australia to grow within our internal workforce. You’ll work independently across installations, repairs, maintenance, and supporting customers in homes or businesses.

No prior telecommunications experience is needed—we’ll teach you everything. You’ll install copper or fibre cabling, set up customer equipment, identify and fix faults, and ensure customers feel supported throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow safe work practices.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Current, clean Driver’s Licence required.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Install copper or fibre cabling and set up customer equipment.
• Identify and fix faults, perform installations and maintenance.
• Support customers in homes or businesses and keep them informed.
• Work across various nbn technologies with commitment to safety.
