Job summary

nbn is seeking a Customer Field Technician based in Devonport to perform installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services at customer premises. The role is autonomous and involves working across diverse environments, predominantly on-site at customer locations.

Responsibilities include copper and fibre cabling installation, CPE deployment, fault diagnosis and repair, with shift windows between 7am and 7pm.

Qualifications

• Experience with copper and fibre network installation, fault finding and repair.
• Current and clean driver’s license is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Cabling installation (copper and fibre), including jointing and splicing.
• Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) installation and setup at customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair faults in nbn cabling networks and CPE.
• Work hours between 7am and 7pm with a flexible approach to business needs.
