Job summary

nbn is hiring a Customer Field Technician in Devonport to perform installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services. This autonomous, customer-facing role involves working on customer premises and across multiple environments, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.

You may bring experience from communication cabling or electrical backgrounds. A current, clean driver’s license and strong written and verbal communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in communication cabling or electrical background preferred.
• Current, clean driver’s license required.
• Exceptional customer service skills and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing.
• Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).
• Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and CPE.
• Work between 7am and 7pm with a flexible environment.
