Job summary

Hager Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Customer Care Coordinator based in our Rydalmere office to be the friendly voice and reliable support for customers across the Australia & New Zealand region. You’ll respond to enquiries, process orders, and work with Sales, Accounts Receivable, and Supply Chain to ensure timely, accurate interactions.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a Customer Care or similar role.
• Confident communicator — clear, friendly, and professional.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a calm, empathic approach.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems (SAP advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, product details, pricing and order updates.
• Own the order journey end-to-end and coordinate follow-ups.
• Provide proactive communication via phone and email with customers.
• Resolve concerns with confidence and escalate when needed.
• Support admin and coordination tasks to maintain a seamless operation.

About The Role

Based in our Rydalmere office and reporting to the Customer Care Manager, you’ll be the friendly voice and reliable support our customers depend on. You’ll respond to enquiries, solve challenges, process orders, and work closely with teams across the Pacific region (Australia & New Zealand) to ensure every customer interaction is smooth, accurate, and timely.
From phone-based support to order coordination, complaint resolution, and ERP/CRM updates, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the full Customer Care lifecycle, becoming a trusted point of contact for both customers and internal stakeholders.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across Sales, Accounts Receivable, Supply Chain, Technical Support, and more, helping ensure the customer journey is seamless from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact - helping customers with enquiries, product details, pricing, and order updates while delivering a genuinely positive experience.
• Own the order journey from end to end, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
• Stay one step ahead by coordinating follow-ups, preparing order status reports, and keeping customers informed through proactive phone and email communication.
• Resolve customer concerns with confidence and care, escalating more complex issues when needed - all while strengthening relationships and building trust.
• Work closely with teams across the business and support day-to-day admin and coordination tasks that help create a seamless, professional Customer Care operation.

Your Profile

• 2 years’ experience in a Customer Care or similar role
• A confident communicator - clear, friendly, and professional
• Strong problem-solving ability and a calm, empathic approach
• Exceptional attention to detail and highly accurate data entry skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Able to manage multiple tasks and stay organised
• Experience using mainstream ERP and CRM systems (SAP advantageous)
