Job summary

Bendigo Bank in Traralgon is seeking a Customer Advisor to deliver outstanding service, assist customers with transactions, explain online banking, and recommend products that fit their needs. This permanent, part-time role offers on-site work, a 60-hour fortnight roster (Mon, Wed, Thu and Fri 8.45am–5.15pm), and the chance to build trusted relationships in the community while pursuing ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment and ability to achieve targets
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions with a risk mindset
• Confident communicator with customers face-to-face and over the phone
• Eagerness to understand and communicate what makes Bendigo Bank different
• Drive for collaboration and teamwork in the branch
• Experience in banking and finance is a plus but not essential

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactions and everyday banking needs
• Educate customers about online platforms and digital banking
• Recommend suitable products and services to meet customer goals
• Handle queries and resolve issues while maintaining risk controls
• Be the branch face and contribute to a welcoming customer experience
