Job summary

One Investment Group (OIG) in Sydney CBD is seeking a strategic Head of Custody to lead the Custody Services function across schemes and clients. You will report to the Head of Corporate Trustee Services and guide a small, high-performing team through regulatory change and growth initiatives.

You will own asset safekeeping, title perfection, custody banking, and payments while driving continuous improvement, automation, and efficient service delivery in Australia’s wealth infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Ten years’ experience in financial services including custody or funds management operations.
• Proven leadership of a team of similar size.
• Deep knowledge of custody operations, asset safekeeping, title perfection and trust banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end custody services across all schemes and clients.
• Oversee custody banking, cash operations and payments processing.
• Build and lead a high-performing custody team.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and workflow enhancements.
• Manage the custody function’s budget and resourcing.
