Job summary

SchoolHouse is partnering with a Catholic secondary college in northwest Queensland to recruit a leader who can also teach Physics. The position starts January 2027 and includes relocation assistance, remote living incentives, and a collaborative, faith-filled community focused on academic and personal development.

Applicants should hold Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility), have Australian working rights, and demonstrate a commitment to Catholic ethos.

Qualifications

• Queensland College of Teachers registration or eligibility to gain.
• Australian working rights including WHV or Skilled Migrant Visa.
• Experience teaching Physics or related science subjects.
• Demonstrated commitment to Catholic values and ethos.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership within the college and lead initiatives as required.
• Deliver Physics instruction to Year 7–12 as appropriate and inspire student growth.
• Collaborate with staff on academic, sporting and cultural programs.
