Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking a Middle Leader to oversee curriculum areas and drive high-quality teaching across our Catholic school network in Queensland. You will lead curriculum development, supervise staff, and use data to inform interventions while managing allocated budgets.

The role requires 5+ years of teaching experience, collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to align programs with state and national standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience.
• Developed work programs aligned with national, state, and local requirements.
• Led assessment and moderation when developing new programs.
• Led and innovated within a specified curriculum area.
• Engaged stakeholders to foster collaboration and transparency.
• Responsible for a financial budget.
• Not required to be Catholic.

Responsibilities

• Lead the designated curriculum area(s) taught in the school.
• Apply contemporary learning and teaching research through professional development of teachers.
• Supervise and induct teachers in the curriculum area.
• Analyse student performance data and address gaps with interventions.
• Manage financial and material resources within the area, including budgeting and expenditure.
