Job summary

Talent International is recruiting for an EL1 Assistant Director Cultural Safety Learning to work with a Federal Government client in NSW. The role is a 12-month contract paying 602.55 AUD per day plus super, with 7.6 hours per day (38 hours per week) across NSW locations.

You will oversee design and delivery of the Cultural Safety Learning Program, embedding culturally responsive approaches, driving co-design with First Nations communities and providing strategic advice to the agency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex training and workforce capability initiatives with governance and risk management.
• Strong project and program management skills with ability to deliver on schedule.
• Ability to engage First Nations communities and stakeholders with respectful partnerships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and briefing skills.
• Experience designing or delivering policy or training in government settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of the Cultural Safety Learning Program.
• Oversee scheduling and delivery of training.
• Provide policy advice and prepare ministerial briefs.
• Build partnerships with First Nations communities and internal teams.
• Lead and mentor staff and manage workloads.
