Job summary

Council is seeking a skilled professional to coordinate the direction and delivery of cultural programs, arts and community events in Lane Cove. The role requires leadership in cultural development and the ability to manage multiple events and projects with a focus on community identity.

You will engage with outdoor events, live performances, and marketing projects while working within a collaborative team. A WWC clearance and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Paid Worker - Working with Children Check clearance (NSW).
• Ability to attend out-of-hours events as required.
• Degree in Arts or Communications or relevant experience in cultural development/events management.
• Experience delivering community cultural development programs including public events and place-making.
• Creativity in directing marketing events and cultural projects.
• Experience managing outdoor events and live performances.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the direction and delivery of Council's cultural programs, including arts, cultural and community events.
• Promote the community rich in culture with a unique identity.
