Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Lead Culinary Coordinator & Admin to coordinate a large culinary workforce across Melbourne events, including major shows. You will schedule rosters, backfill vacancies, liaise with external agencies, and provide admin support to operations.

The role emphasizes payroll and HR support, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced hospitality environment with diverse events.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating a workforce and handling admin duties.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask.
• Experience with workforce management systems, preferably Deputy.
• High attention to detail in records and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and data systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Experience in hospitality, catering, events, or large operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and backfill casual culinary workforce, rostering and scheduling.
• Liaise with stakeholders and external agencies to meet workforce needs.
• Provide admin support to site operations, records, compliance and training.
• Support culinary managers with payroll, HR and workplace enquiries.
• Maintain cross-team communication while supporting audits and compliance.
