Job summary

NRMA Insurance, part of Insurance Australia Group (IAG), invites applicants for a CTP Claims Consultant role in Sydney. You will support motor vehicle injury claimants, guiding them through recovery, with training and ongoing support to develop claims management and stakeholder skills.

Ideal candidates come from customer-focused backgrounds, excel in communication, and show empathy and resilience handling sensitive situations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role such as customer service, hospitality, retail, healthcare or community services.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with a wide range of people.
• Genuine empathy and a passion for helping others.
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm and professional when handling sensitive, emotional, or challenging situations.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.
• Confidence using technology and navigating multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of motor accident injury claims, guiding customers through the claims and recovery process.
• Build strong relationships with injured people, rehabilitation providers, healthcare providers, legal representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting customers through challenging and often emotional circumstances.
• Gather and assess information to make informed decisions and ensure claims are managed in line with legislation and internal requirements.
• Proactively identify barriers to recovery and work with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
• Balance customer needs, claim requirements, and business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

As a CTP Claims Consultant, you'll support people who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident, helping them navigate their recovery journey. What You'll Do
