Job summary

Knox Private Hospital is seeking motivated CSSD Technicians to join our Central Sterilising Services Department on a casual basis. Your work will support safe patient care by cleaning, sterilising, assembling and supplying instruments to the highest standards.

You will report to the CSSD Manager and perform decontamination, preparing instrument trays, ensuring compliance with sterilisation protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation to support a well-organised department.

Qualifications

• Decontamination, inspection and sterilisation of reusable medical devices.
• Preparing instrument trays and equipment for theatres and clinics.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterilisation standards.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble and sterilise reusable medical devices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous CSSD experience within a hospital setting
• Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (or working towards) desirable
• Sound knowledge of sterilisation processes and infection control principles
