Job summary

Bundaberg Private Day Hospital, part of Nexus Hospitals Group, is seeking a Sterilisation Services Manager CSSD to lead our CSSD team and drive clinical excellence and patient safety across our day surgery environment.

You will ensure all sterilising standards are followed, monitor equipment and stock, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services.
• Proven leadership experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices.
• Familiarity with AS 5369:2023 and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CSSD team in cleaning and sterilisation services.
• Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to.
• Undertake quality improvement activities for the department.
• Monitor CSSD equipment and stock levels and order as required.
• Ensure daily equipment checks and usage records meet standards.
