Bayside Health is seeking an Instrument Technician Grade 2-3 to join the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). You will reprocess and sterilise surgical instruments, ensure compliance with AS 5369 and internal policies, and maintain thorough records to support safe patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to undertake direction and training.
• Willingness to maintain and advance knowledge and skills relevant to that position.
• Experienced in working in a team environment.
• Undertakes work of a complex nature rotating throughout all areas of CSSD under the direction of Grade 5 or above.

Aufgaben

• Reprocess and sterilise surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standard AS 5369 and Bayside Health policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for sterilisation processes.
• Work as part of a dedicated CSSD team to support safe delivery of sterile equipment across clinical areas.
