Norwest Private Hospital in Sydney’s North West is seeking a dedicated CSSD Instrument Technician for a casual role. You will contribute to a close-knit CSSD team, ensuring sterile processing across decontamination, packing, sterilisation and loans, while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year experience as a CSSD Instrument Technician.
• Certificate III in Sterilising Services (or currently working towards).
• Commitment to maintaining current skills and professional knowledge.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Well-organised with initiative and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Mansioni

• Ensuring sterilisation practices comply with AS 5369 (2023) and infection prevention standards
• Working across all CSSD areas including Decontamination, Packing, Sterilisation and Loans
• Operating, monitoring and documenting machinery according to operational requirements
• Completing accurate documentation and reporting quality-related activities
• Demonstrating flexibility to work morning/afternoon shifts and weekends as required
