Norwest Private Hospital, part of Healthscope, is seeking a CSSD Instrument Technician to support safe, high‑quality surgical care in a close‑knit CSSD team. You’ll work across Decontamination, Packing, Sterilisation and Loans, with AS 5369 standards and a commitment to patient‑centred care.

We value collaboration, ongoing professional development, flexible shifts and a supportive management team. Minimum 1 year CSSD experience and Certificate III in Sterilising Services (or studying) are

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience as a CSSD Instrument Technician.
Certificate III in Sterilising Services (or currently pursuing).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Well-organised with initiative and adaptability.

Responsabilités

Ensure sterilisation practices comply with AS 5369 (2023) and infection prevention standards.
Work across Decontamination, Packing, Sterilisation and Loans.
Operate, monitor and document machinery according to operational requirements.
Complete accurate documentation and reporting of quality related activities.
Demonstrating flexibility to work morning/afternoon shifts and weekends as required.
