St Andrews Hospital Ipswich in Ipswich, QLD, is seeking a casual CSSD Technician to join our Central Sterilising Services Department. You will reprocess reusable medical devices, assist with decontamination, inspection, packing and sterilisation, and help ensure instruments are ready for theatre use.

You will work as part of a supportive CSSD team, maintain high standards of safety and infection prevention, perform manual handling, and occasionally transport equipment between Ramsay hospital

Responsabilités

• Reprocess reusable medical devices through decontamination, inspection, packing, sterilisation, and dispatch.
• Work collaboratively with the CSSD team to ensure instruments are available for theatre and hospital requirements.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and infection prevention.
• Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting instrument trays and standing for extended periods.
• Transport surgical instruments and equipment between Ramsay hospital sites when required.
