Noosa Day Hospital, part of Cura Day Hospitals Group, invites applications for an experienced CSSD/Endoscopy Technician. Join a founding team at a brand-new multidisciplinary facility delivering integrated surgical care.

You will reprocess and sterilise instruments, ensure compliance with disinfection standards, and maintain accurate documentation in a collaborative, patient-centred environment.

Competenze

• Minimum one year experience in a sterilisation services environment.
• Strong knowledge of disinfection and sterilisation standards.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Certificate III in Sterilisation or equivalent, or willingness to obtain.

About us

Noosa Day Hospital is a newly opened multidisciplinary facility. This is a unique opportunity to join the founding team and shape the culture, practices and standards of a brand-new service.

The hospital features three state-of-the-art operating theatres and contemporary recovery and patient care areas. We support a broad range of specialties, including Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Breast Surgery, Pain Management and MOHS Surgery.

Located within the Noosa Health Precinct, the hospital will operate alongside specialist consulting suites and allied health services, delivering integrated surgical care from pre-admission through to recovery.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CSSD/ Endoscopy Technician to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting safe surgical services through the reprocessing and sterilisation of instruments, working within a collaborative and quality-focused environment.

Key requirements

Minimum one year experience in a sterilisation services environment

Strong knowledge of disinfection and sterilisation standards

High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry

Ability to work both independently and within a team

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Sound judgement and ability to respond appropriately in a clinical setting

Certificate III in Sterilisation or equivalent, or willingness to obtain

Experience in reprocessing endoscopes

Compliance requirements

Current right to work in Australia
