Job summary

Noosa Day Hospital, located within the Noosa Health Precinct, is a brand-new multidisciplinary facility seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Registered Nurse. Join the founding team on a full-time or part-time basis and help shape culture, practices and standards across surgical services.

The role requires at least one year in Scrub and Scout nursing, current AHPRA registration, and the ability to work mornings or afternoons in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

About us

Noosa Day Hospital is a newly opened multidisciplinary facility. This is a unique opportunity to join the founding team and shape the culture, practices and standards of a brand-new service.

The hospital features three state-of-the-art operating theatres and contemporary recovery and patient care areas. We support a broad range of specialties, including Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Breast Surgery, Pain Management and MOHS Surgery.

Located within the Noosa Health Precinct, the hospital will operate alongside specialist consulting suites and allied health services, delivering integrated surgical care from pre-admission through to recovery.

About the role

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurse - Ophthalmology to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis.

Key requirements

Minimum one year experience in Scrub and Scout nursing
