Job summary

Lawson Elliott Recruitment is helping a locally founded financial practice recruit a Client Service Officer to support Advisers and the Executive team. You will help manage client workflows, assist with financial planning tasks, and gain exposure to advisory, accounting, and estate planning matters.

You will benefit from tailored mentorship, hands-on experience and ongoing professional development as you progress toward a Financial Planner role.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in a financial planning firm
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excited to progress to financial planner
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Mentoring others and collaborating within a team

Responsibilities

• Manage Advisers' diaries, appointments, and inboxes
• Prepare meeting agendas, client review packs and correspondence
• Serve as a key contact for clients (portfolio ~300)
• Prepare and process new business applications and implement advice
• Assist with SOA preparation and compliance documentation
• Maintain accurate client records in CRM and practice systems
• Coordinate with platforms, fund managers and third parties
• Provide broader admin and executive support to Advisory and Executive teams
