Job summary

Metso in Australia is seeking a senior sales professional to drive product sales for crushing and screening solutions. The role involves demonstrating customer value, leading with ROI and TCO advantages, and supporting account managers with training and strategic guidance.

Based at the Karratha Service Centre or Perth facilities, you will manage complex bids, forecasts, and market strategies while collaborating with multiple product groups and regional teams to grow revenue and market share.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B technical sales experience in capital equipment, mining, aggregates, processing solutions, or related heavy industry sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to develop business cases, value propositions, and win plans demonstrating ROI and TCO benefits.
• Deep product and application knowledge or ability to rapidly acquire expertise in crushing and screening solutions.
• Sales pipeline and funnel management, including forecasting and CRM management.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles, tenders, RFQs and high-value customer proposals.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales funnel generation for the product offering.
• Provide value argumentation, value proposition and win plans for the product offering.
• Demonstrate customer advantages of Metso products including performance, value, and total solution benefits.
• Ensure account managers have adequate training and support to sell their products.
• Collect customer and competitor information as per BL/PG requirements.
• Provide country/region/market level forecasts with the sales teams.
• Understand market, competition and industry best practices to build sales cases.
• Support Warrant process, IB Validation, and inspection report reviews.
• Escalate issues to BL/PG Sales Support as required.
