Job summary

Norton Gold Fields Limited is seeking an experienced Leading Hand at Binduli Operations in Western Australia. The role involves acting as shift lead, coordinating daily crushing and screening activities, and supervising operators to meet production targets.

You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance and minor repairs, and operate loaders and water carts. A strong knowledge of crushers, screens and conveyors is essential.

Qualifications

• Statutory Supervisor (S26) certificate is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in mining or mobile crushing environment.
• Current WA Driver’s Licence; HR preferred.
• Strong knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors with fault-finding skills.
• Ability to supervise small teams and coordinate daily shift activities.
• Competent operating mobile plant including loaders and water carts.

ROSTER: 2:1 (Residential, or FIFO ex. Perth)

LOCATION: NGF, Binduli Operations (Goldfields, WA)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Acting as shift lead alongside the Supervisor
• Coordinating daily crushing and screening activities
• Supervising operators and supporting team performance
• Completing inspections, preventative maintenance & minor repairs
• Operating loaders, water carts, and managing stockpiles

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Statutory Supervisor (S26) Certificate
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a mining or mobile crushing environment
• Current WA Driver’s Licence (HR preferred)
• Strong knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors and associated plant, with solid fault-finding and preventative maintenance experience
• Proven ability to supervise small teams and coordinate daily shift activities to meet production targets
• Competency operating mobile plant, including loaders and water carts (relevant tickets required)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
