Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking a skilled Crusher Fitter/Boilermaker with hands-on experience across crushing, quarry and mining equipment. The role involves workshop, metropolitan and remote-site work, applying technical knowledge across diverse customer environments.

The successful candidate will diagnose equipment issues using documentation and OEM procedures, perform maintenance and repairs, and travel to customer sites to support projects across Australia.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Fitting or Boilermaking or related mechanical trade.
• Minimum 2 years post-training experience in quarry/mining environments.
• Hands-on experience with crushing and processing equipment.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Full unrestricted C Class driver's licence; HR and forklift licences desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing, repairs and troubleshooting on mobile and stationary equipment.
• Inspect equipment and identify faults and maintenance requirements.
• Diagnose hydraulic and mechanical problems using technical documentation and OEM procedures.
• Read hydraulics schematics and carry out pressure and flow testing.
• Diagnose faults within electrical control systems and perform voltage checks.
• Provide on-site technical support across metropolitan, regional and remote locations.
• Travel to customer sites as required to complete maintenance and repair work.
• Maintain detailed reports and records of work performed.
