Job summary

Burger Urge Andergrove is hiring a Junior Crew Member to join our fast-paced team in Mackay. You will greet customers, take orders, prepare food, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area while delivering outstanding service.

Role requires strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service. Availability for evenings, weekends and school holidays is preferred; training and RSA certification will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Certificate required.
• RSA certification within 30 days of starting work.
• Valid working rights including passport/visa for international candidates.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and taking orders in a timely and friendly manner.
• Preparing food according to Burger Urge standards and recipes, including cooking, grilling, frying, and assembling.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
• Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, such as grills, fryers, and ovens.
• Handling cash and credit card transactions and maintaining accurate records of sales.
• Communicating effectively with other team members to ensure orders are prepared correctly and quickly.
• Participating in training sessions and keeping up-to-date with Burger Urge policies, procedures, and menu items.
