Job summary

Morson Edge Australia is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to support a large wind farm project in Geelong. You will safeguard financial integrity by validating invoices, querying discrepancies, and ensuring timely approvals.

This role reports to the Finance Manager and involves strong collaboration with contractors and internal teams. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, assertive, and comfortable challenging figures.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control, accounts payable, or project finance.
• Extremely detail-oriented and financially astute.
• Able to manage high volumes of invoices in a fast-paced environment.
• Construction, infrastructure, or energy project experience preferred.
• Confident to question figures and flag discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier and contractor invoices.
• Check invoices against contracts, purchase orders, and agreed rates.
• Identify discrepancies, incorrect charges, or missing documentation.
• Raise and resolve queries with contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure approvals are obtained in line with company processes.
• Maintain accurate records and support month-end reporting.
• Assist with audit preparation and financial controls.
