Job summary

Credit Corp Group is seeking an Analytics Specialist in Lending – Core Products to help shape credit decisioning and improve loan performance. You will work closely with lending, marketing, operations, product and technology teams to optimize outcomes across core lending products.

The role emphasizes advanced analytics, commercial thinking and stakeholder collaboration, with opportunities to influence decisions and drive performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies, FIAA highly regarded.
• Experience in analytics, credit risk or commercial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Experience using SQL, Python, SAS, R.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing, monitoring and refining lending scorecards and credit decisioning strategies.
• Analysing approval rates, loan performance, arrears and loss trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Building recommendations that balance customer growth objectives with responsible risk management.
• Supporting the development and launch of new lending products through analytical modelling, testing and performance review.
• Leveraging traditional and alternative data sources to improve predictive capability and lending outcomes.
• Partnering with Marketing to optimise acquisition performance and cost per funded loan.
• Supporting Operations through process improvement initiatives and data-driven decision making.
• Delivering regular performance reporting and insights to key business stakeholders.
• Contributing to analytical projects focused on innovation, continuous improvement and deeper understanding of customer behaviour.
