Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking passionate Crèche Attendants to care for children aged 0–5 years. You will provide excellent service, supervise crèche activities, and promote centre programs with strong teamwork and professional communication.

Permanent part-time and casual opportunities are available, with shifts split between mornings and evenings. An onboarding process includes compliance with childcare policies and safety standards within a flexible, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Resuscitation Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Working With Children Check clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of activity programming for children.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Positive and professional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive rapport with children and parents/carers.
• Supervise children in the crèche.
• Maintain appropriate child-to-attendant ratios.
• Promote centre programs and activities to participants.
• Implement and evaluate activities per childcare policies.
• Set up and pack away crèche equipment and ensure cleanliness.
• Monitor bookings and payments and record attendance.
• Meet OHS and risk management requirements.
• Input crèche data as required.
