Casalingo Apollo Bay, located on the Great Ocean Road, is hiring a full-time chef to join our Italian dining team in Apollo Bay, VIC. The role demands creativity, organization and passion, with dinner service only.

Qualifications include Cert IV or higher in commercial cookery, flexible availability and strong leadership. The position offers a salary of AU$70,000–AU$80,000 plus super, with tips and accommodation assistance for the right candidate.

Responsabilités

• Plan and develop menus in consultation with restaurant management.
• Prepare and cook dishes while supervising quality, presentation and portion control.
• Direct and coordinate cooks and kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
• Monitor food supplies, estimate requirements, order ingredients, and control kitchen costs.
• Maintain food-safety standards and train staff in cooking techniques, hygiene and kitchen procedures.
