Job summary

The Sebel Yarrawonga is a luxury boutique hotel located by the Murray River seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will help prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, following recipes and maintaining high standards.

You will ensure correct portioning, maintain cleanliness, and comply with food safety regulations while supporting ongoing menu execution and collaboration with fellow chefs.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Commercial cooking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing breakfast, lunch and/or dinner items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure that ingredients are properly measured, portioned, and stored.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations at all times.
• Adhere to food safety regulations while handling ingredients, cooking utensils, and equipment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food supplies.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs or management regarding menu changes or special requests.
