Job summary

Northeast Auto Group is seeking a to lead our Paint & Panel department in Australia. This leader will drive the crash repair operations, mentoring a high-performing team and building strong client, supplier and insurer relationships.

You will oversee all daily operations, scheduling, inventory, and financial performance, ensuring repairs meet safety and manufacturer standards while pursuing efficiency and profitability. The role emphasizes growth, initiative and ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, andsupport a team of technicians, fostering a positive work culture focusedon teamwork, growth, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee all aspects ofdaily operations, including job scheduling, resource allocation, inventorymanagement, and financial performance to achieve weekly and monthlytargets.
  • Ensure all repairs arecompleted to the highest standards, maintaining compliance with safetyregulations, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices.
  • Drive efficiency,productivity, and profitability across the site — always looking forsmarter, faster, and better ways to deliver great outcomes.
About You
  • Proven leadershipexperience in a collision or truck repair environment (minimum 2 years)
  • Trade-qualified in PanelBeating or Spray Painting (highly desirable)
  • A hands-on, motivatedleader who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong focus on safety,quality, workflow, and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communicationand people management skills — you know how to get the best out of yourteam
