Job summary

CGC Site Services is a Rigging business based in Wodonga and is seeking a motivated Crane Operator to join our Installation team. This hands-on role involves operating a Mobile Crane and assisting with structural steel installation across Regional Victoria, Melbourne and Southern NSW.

We value a mature, proactive team member with strong OH&S adherence and the ability to work unsupervised on-site as well as collaboratively on-site within a team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Structural Steel Erection.
• At least 3 years of experience operating a Mobile Crane.
• Strong awareness of OH&S standards.
• Ability to work unsupervised on-site and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate the crane and assist in steel installation on-site.
• Contribute to installation team and project work across multiple sites.
• Maintain safety standards and provide reliable, hands-on support.

CGC Site Services is a Rigging business based in Wodonga specializing in the installation of structural steel on a variety of projects within Commercial, Rail, Defence and Industrial sectors.

We are seeking a motivated, mature, and proactive Crane Operator to become a key part of our Installation team.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone looking to be more than just a crane operator, we value team members who can assist in multiple areas. In addition to operating the crane, you will be actively involved in steel installation.

While we are based in North East Victoria, our projects span across all Regional Victoria, Melbourne and Southern NSW.

What We Are Looking For:

• At least 3 years of experience in Structural Steel Erection
• At least 3 years of experience operating a Mobile Crane
• A general understanding of the construction industry
• Physical strength and endurance to assist with steel installation - this is a hands-on role.
• Strong awareness of OH&S standards
• Ability to work unsupervised on-site and as part of a team
• A professional and courteous attitude
• Reliability, trustworthiness, and commitment to the job

Essential License's & Tickets:

• C6 Crane Ticket (minimum)
• Basic Rigger/Dogman
• White Card

Additional Licenses (Highly Regarded):

• Qualified Boilermaker
• Boom Lift (over 11m) / Elevated Work Platform
• Mechanical skills for basic maintenance and repairs
