MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Crane Operators and Riggers to join our Central West NSW project on an underground construction site. Operate cranes, rig, lift and position loads in challenging conditions while following lift plans and site procedures.

You will inspect equipment, perform pre-start checks, and report faults. The role requires HRWL license, relevant tickets, and the ability to work 2:1 days and nights rosters with a strong commitment to safety.

Qualificações

• Experience as Crane Operator or Rigger in underground/mining/construction.
• Current HRWL appropriate to role and relevant crane, rigging, dogging tickets.
• Strong knowledge of lift plans and safe lifting procedures.
• Ability to perform pre-start checks and equipment inspections.
• Able to work independently and in a team; strong safety focus.
• Excellent communication and roster availability (2:1 days/nights).
• Must pass pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol screening.

The Role

Due to continued growth, MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Crane Operators and Riggers to join our team on a major underground construction project in Central West NSW.

Depending on your experience and qualifications, your duties may include:

• Operating cranes in an underground construction environment


• Rigging, lifting, moving and positioning equipment and structural components


• Preparing loads and selecting suitable lifting and rigging equipment


• Completing lifting operations in accordance with lift plans and site procedures


• Inspecting lifting equipment and ensuring it is safe and suitable for use


• Conducting pre-start inspections and routine crane checks


• Identifying and reporting equipment faults or maintenance requirements


• Communicating clearly with doggers, supervisors and construction crews


• Completing all work safely and in accordance with site requirements

About You

• Previous experience as a Crane Operator or Rigger in an underground, mining or construction environment


• Current High Risk Work Licence appropriate to your role


• Relevant crane, rigging and dogging qualifications and tickets


• Strong understanding of lift plans, lifting procedures and safe equipment operation


• Ability to inspect lifting equipment and complete pre-start checks


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong communication skills and commitment to safety


• Availability to work a 2:1 roster across day and night shifts


• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
