YEM Technology is seeking experienced Crane Operators and Riggers for the Sino Iron Project in Cape Preston, WA. This is a permanent casual opportunity on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, with 12-hour shifts and a paid lunch break.

Responsibilities include operating mobile cranes, lifting components with rigging crews, and performing pre-start checks. Essential qualifications include HRWL CN, WP, WAH, CSE, White Card, and current Australian Working Rights, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Essential certifications and regulatory requirements to operate mobile cranes and rigging on site.
• Must have White Card and current Australian Working Rights.
• HRWL CN/WP/WAH/CSE and respirator requirements are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes and Franna pick-and-carry units across maintenance and shutdown activities.
• Lift and position equipment and mechanical components with rigging crews.
• Complete pre-start checks and daily plant inspections.
• Maintain safe exclusion zones and follow lift plans.
• Support shutdown activities as required.
• Perform rigging and other tasks directed by supervisor.

YEM Technology is looking for experienced Crane Operators/Riggers to join our team at the Sino Iron Project on an ongoing 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth.

About the Role

This is a permanent and casual opportunity based at Cape Preston, WA, working a 2:1 roster (one week days, one week nights, one week off). Shifts are 12 hours, including a 30-minute paid lunch break.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating mobile cranes and Franna pick-and-carry units across maintenance and shutdown activities
• Lifting and positioning equipment and mechanical components alongside rigging crews
• Completing pre-start checks and daily plant inspections
• Maintaining safe exclusion zones and working to approved lift plans
• Supporting shutdown activities as required
• Performing rigging and any other tasks directed by the supervisor

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

• HRWL: Non-slewing Mobile Crane (CN)
• HRWL: Elevated Work Platform (WP)
• Working at Heights (WAH)
• Confined Space Entry (CSE)
• White Card
• Current driver's licence (HR or above preferred)
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Must be clean-shaven and able to wear a respirator mask (3M 7500 or equivalent)

Desirable:

• HRWL: Slewing Mobile Crane (CO)
• HRWL: Basic Rigging (RB) minimum, Advanced Rigging (RA) preferred
• HRWL: Forklift (LF)
• First Aid / CPR
• Previous FIFO or fixed plant experience

What We Offer

• FULL TIME: $57.96 ph
• CASUAL: $72.45 ph
• NIGHT SHIFT ALLOWANCE: $8.69 ph
• Site allowance paid in addition to hourly wages
