Job summary

Mammoet Australia are seeking Open Crane Operators to join our FMG Christmas Creek maintenance crew. This role offers a 2x1 Day/Night FIFO roster from Perth, with flights on Wednesdays, and operates MAC25 and LTM1250 cranes on site.

Responsibilities include crane mobilization, safe operation, load positioning, and routine maintenance while meeting safety standards on major projects in the Pilbara region.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of relevant experience in heavy lifting operations and rigging.
• High Risk Work License - CO and RI.
• Driver’s Licence - HR.
• Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in maintenance, mining or construction within Pilbara.

Responsibilities

• Mobilization and demobilization of the assigned crane in relevant configuration.
• Operating the crane in line with work standards and instructions.
• Positioning and repositioning the load.
• Performing periodic preventative and routine maintenance.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and effectively.

Mammoet Australia are seeking Open Crane Operators to join our FMG Christmas Creek maintenance crew. This role will be a salary based position on a 2x1 Day/Night Shift FIFO roster from Perth flying in and out on Wednesdays. Our fleet consists of a MAC25 and a LTM1250, where you will be required to support all maintenance lift requirements and project works onsite.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Mobilization and demobilization of the assigned crane in relevant configuration
• Operating the crane in line with work standards and instructions
• Positioning and repositioning the load
• Performing periodic preventative and routine maintenance
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and effectively

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Local West Australian Resident
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in heavy lifting operations and rigging equipment
• High Risk Work License - CO and RI
• Driver’s License - HR
• Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: Maintenance, Ming and Construction within the Pilbara
