Journey Beyond in Airlie Beach is seeking a casual Coxswain to support onboard operations, ensuring safe berthing, secure docking, and smooth departures while maintaining guest comfort and high service levels. The successful candidate will contribute to memorable experiences in one of Australia’s leading experiential tourism brands.

The role requires Coxswain Grade 1 NC, Blue Card, First Aid, CPR and Oxygen Therapy certification, plus RSA, with a focus on teamwork and safety in a dynamic marine

Qualifications

• Must hold Coxswain Grade 1 NC.
• Blue Card Working with Children’s Check is required.
• HLTAID011 First Aid certification required.
• HLTAID015 CPR & Advanced Oxygen Therapy required.
• Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support onboard leadership by preparing vessels for transport.
• Secure and depart vessels safely and maintain guest comfort.
• Deliver high-quality service and enhance guest experience.
• Collaborate with crew and Master for smooth berthing.
• Conduct safety procedures and daily vessel cleaning.
