This is a fixed-term five-year contract with potential extensions, and the position is full-time.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship or eligibility for citizenship is required.
• National security clearance LEVEL 1 – NEGATIVE VET or higher is required.
• Psychological and medical testing will be completed as part of the process.

Are you an experienced leader with a background in Covert Surveillance? The Corruption and Crime Commission is seeking a Covert Surveillance Technical Team Leader to bring technical expertise and operational insight to the team.

This is a fixed-term five-year contract with the possibility of a further contract and/or extension. Suitable applicants may be considered for other similar vacancies within the next 12 months. This is a full-time position.

THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

TheCorruption and Crime Commission (CCC)is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to strengthen the integrity of the public sector, reduce corruption and disrupt criminal activity for the benefit of our community.

The Operational Support directorate is responsible for the delivery of high-quality capabilities to the Commission's serious misconduct and unexplained wealth investigations. This includes the effective delivery of covert surveillance and electronic collection activities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Covert Surveillance Capabilities team provides integrated physical and technical surveillance capabilities in support of complex investigations, intelligence activities and operational priorities.

The Covert Surveillance Technical Team Leader leads a team of specialist technical surveillance officers in support of complex operational activities. The position is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering technical surveillance outcomes, developing staff capability, providing specialist advice and leading to the continuous improvement of the Commission's technical surveillance capabilities.

The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and employment is conditional on you possessing and maintaining a national security classification of LEVEL 1 – NEGATIVE VETTING or higher. Additionally, appointment to this position is conditional on the satisfactory completion of psychological and medical testing.
