Job summary

Court Services Victoria seeks a Team Leader to manage the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) and Assessment and Referral Court (ARC) at Ballarat. You will lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality, client-centred service delivery in a justice setting.

The role requires experience in complex needs, risk assessment and effective stakeholder engagement, with a focus on continuous improvement and staff development. A Diploma or higher is desirable.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification (minimum Diploma level) relevant to case management practice is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in assessment and case management of clients with multiple and complex needs.
• Experience in leadership and management of health and/or social welfare staff.
• Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Sound knowledge of evidence-informed practice models for complex needs (mental health, homelessness, drugs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the CISP and ARC programs at Ballarat Magistrates' Court.
• Supervise, mentor and support a multidisciplinary team of case managers.
• Provide guidance on complex case management, clinical risk assessment and risk mitigation.
• Manage program resources and client allocations to ensure timely service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with judiciary, legal professionals, court staff and community providers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program quality and client outcomes.
• Maintain a small caseload and provide expert advice on complex client matters.
• Support staff development, recruitment, induction and performance planning.
