Job summary

Jet Couriers is expanding its network and seeking reliable Courier Owner Drivers in Australia. You must own a van and hold a current Australian driver's license; visa/work rights are acceptable.

This role offers uncapped earning potential under a Courier Owner Driver contract, with support to select/finance a van if needed. Typical week is 40–50 hours, primarily B2B pickups and deliveries across metro areas, with some regional work.

• Must hold a current Australian driver's license.
• Must have Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa with work rights.

Responsibilities

• Jobs are mainly Business to Business collections and deliveries.
• Start from home between 7:00-8:00am; 40–50 hours per week, Mon–Fri.
• Most work is within your metro area with occasional regional assignments.
• Support is available for those starting a new courier career.

Courier Owner Driver

The Offer & The Role

• Successful candidates will be offered a Courier Owner Driver contract
• Minimum safety net payments apply in accordance with the Transport Industry - Courier and Taxi Truck Contract Determination.
• There is no cap on the revenue you can generate. The better you perform, the more you make.
• You’ll need to own your own van. Don’t have one? An industry-experienced team can assist with vehicle selection, finance and insurance, helping you get setup correctly to meet industry standards and on the road ready to drive.
• Previous courier experience is not required, and we welcome those looking to start a new career in Couriers. Extensive support is provided for new entrants to the industry.
• All the required courier equipment is supplied to you.
• If you have the ambition to expand your courier business with additional vehicles and drivers, an experienced team can guide and support you in building and growing your operation.
• Start from home between 7:00 - 8:00am.
• Work is approx. 40 - 50 hours per week Monday to Friday - hours depend on season.
• Jobs are mainly Business to Business collections and deliveries. A very small amount of our jobs consists of consumer/home deliveries.
• Most jobs are within your metro area, with occasional regional work providing variety and a change of scenery.
• Enjoy a varied workday with exposure to different businesses and industries, perfect for individuals who prefer work that isn’t repetitive.

The Right Candidate

• A suitable van is required for this work, and not all vans will meet fleet requirements. If you already own a van, we'll assess its suitability. If you don't own one, assistance is available to help you purchase the right van.
• Must have a current Australian driver's license.
• Must have an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid visa with unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• You’ll need a Pty Ltd company (ACN, ABN and GST registered). If you don't have one, assistance with setup is available.
• Knowledge of your local roads is a benefit.
• Must have good work ethic, good communication skills and a desire to succeed.
