Job summary

Jet Couriers X in Melbourne is seeking Courier Owner Drivers to join a growing network. You must own a van or be eligible for assistance; ACN/ABN and Australian driver’s license required. A minimum revenue guarantee is included and there is no cap on earnings.

Jobs are primarily B2B pickups and deliveries within the metro area with some regional routes. Start between 7:00-8:00am; work about 40–50 hours per week, Monday to Friday; extensive support to enter and expand your own courier business.

Qualifications

• Must have ACN and ABN; we assist with setup if needed.
• Must hold a current Australian driver's license.
• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid visa with unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an independent Courier Owner Driver with your own van.
• Deliver and collect goods for business customers with reliability and professionalism.
• Grow your own courier operation with supported guidance and potential expansion.

Courier Owner Driver

The Offer & The Role

• Successful candidates will be offered a Courier Owner Driver contract that meets industry standards and includes a minimum revenue guarantee.
• There is no cap on the revenue you can generate. The better you perform, the more you make.
• You’ll need to own your own van. Don’t have one? An industry-experienced team can assist with vehicle selection, finance and insurance, helping you get setup correctly to meet industry standards and on the road ready to drive.
• Previous courier experience is not required, and we welcome those looking to start a new career in Couriers. Extensive support is provided for new entrants to the industry.
• All the required courier equipment is supplied to you.
• If you have the ambition to expand your courier business with additional vehicles and drivers, an experienced team can guide and support you in building and growing your operation.
• Start from home between 7:00 - 8:00am.
• Work is approx. 40 - 50 hours per week Monday to Friday - hours depend on season.
• Jobs are mainly Business to Business collections and deliveries. A very small amount of our jobs consists of consumer/home deliveries.
• Most jobs are within your metro area, with occasional regional work providing variety and a change of scenery.
• Enjoy a varied workday with exposure to different businesses and industries, perfect for individuals who prefer work that isn’t repetitive.

The Right Candidate

• A suitable van is required for this work, and not all vans will meet fleet requirements. If you already own a van, we'll assess its suitability. If you don't own one, assistance is available to help you purchase the right van.
• ACN & ABN required. If you do not have an ACN, we'll assist with the setup.
• Must have a current Australian driver's license.
• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid visa with unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Knowledge of your local roads is a benefit.
• Must have good work ethic, good communication skills and a desire to succeed.
