Job summary

Catalyst X Australia is seeking a Courier Owner Driver in Australia. You will operate as an owner driver handling business-to-business freight and occasional residential work, with a guaranteed minimum revenue and uncapped earnings based on performance.

You will need your own van, a valid Australian Driver's Licence, and the ability to meet GST/ABN requirements. The role is Monday–Friday with early start times and variable weekly hours depending on demand.

Qualifications

• Must own a suitable van, or be willing to purchase one.
• Must hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or visa with unrestricted work rights.
• Must have or be willing to setup an ACN/ABN and GST registration.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver for contract clients across the network.
• Manage daily schedules and route efficiency.
• Maintain vehicle and required courier equipment.
• Work Monday to Friday with early start times around 7am.

Courier Owner Driver

Role & Benefits

• You will be offered an owner driver contract that includes a Minimum Revenue Guarantee
• Your revenue will be uncapped, giving you an opportunity to earn more than a fix rate if you perform well
• Your own van is required to be an owner driver. If you are new to couriers and don't own a van, we will help you purchase the right van.
• If finance is required, we can assist you with obtaining finance through our supplier network.
• The required courier transport equipment is supplied to you.
• To maximise your success as a courier owner driver, you will need to be available to work Monday to Friday, with a start time at around 7am and if required, last pick may be at 5pm or earlier from time to time.
• Weekly working hours can fluctuate between approx.40 to 50 hours per week as this depends on the season (time of year). Annualized average is under approximately 45 hours.
• Jobs are allocated to you throughout the day, with the majority involving business-to-business freight collections and deliveries from contract clients. Some residential work may arise from time to time, depending on customer requirements.
