Job summary

ABRS in Western Sydney seeks an experienced Team Leader to join a growing community-based service supporting individuals and families with complex needs. You will lead a team of practitioners, providing operational oversight, workforce support, quality and continuous improvement.

This role offers SCHADS 6 + super + salary packaging + vehicle, EAP, clinical supervision and professional development in a supportive leadership environment.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling or Psychology and membership of a relevant professional association such as APS, PACFA, ACA or AASW.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience including supervision, performance management and team development.
  • Experience applying a broad range of therapeutic approaches with individuals, couples, families and/or young people.
  • Understanding and experience across co-morbidities, addictions and/or gambling counselling.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence.

  • Lead, coach and support a team of practitioners to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred services.
  • Provide day-to-day operational oversight and ensure service delivery meets relevant standards.
  • Provide supervision, performance development and workforce support.
  • Support staff wellbeing within a fast-paced and emotionally demanding environment.
  • Contribute to service development, continuous improvement and reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Promote inclusive, culturally responsive and trauma-informed practice.
  • Work closely with managers and senior leaders during a period of service growth.
