Job summary

Based in Sydney, you’ll join a leading international project and cost management consultancy delivering major Data Centre developments—one of the fastest-growing and most technically complex sectors in construction.

You’ll work alongside experienced Cost Managers and gain exposure across both pre and post contract services, from early cost planning and procurement through to construction and final account. This is your path to a specialist Data Centre career.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ Cost Management or Quantity Surveying experience in a consultancy.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
  • Experience or exposure to cost planning, estimating and pre-contract services.
  • Exposure to variations, progress claims and cost reporting is highly regarded.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
  • An interest in relocating to Sydney and developing specialist Data Centre experience.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to continue learning from experienced members of the team.

If you’ve spent the first few years of your career building your Cost Management experience in New Zealand and have considered making the move to Australia, this could be the opportunity to do it.

You’ll work alongside experienced Cost Managers and gain exposure across both pre and post contract services, from early cost planning and procurement through to construction and final account. As your experience develops, you’ll take on greater responsibility and build confidence working directly with clients, consultants and contractors.

What you’ll need
